Ferrovanadium is an iron alloy composed of vanadium and iron, serving as an essential alloy additive in the steelmaking and foundry industries. I. Product Introduction

Ferrovanadium is a ferroalloy whose main components are vanadium and iron, also containing impurities such as sulfur, phosphorus, silicon, and aluminum. It is obtained by reducing vanadium pentoxide (V₂O₅) with carbon in an electric furnace, or by reducing vanadium pentoxide via the electric furnace silico-thermal method. Ferrovanadium is widely used as an alloy additive in the smelting of vanadium-containing alloy steels and alloy cast irons. In recent years, it has also been used in the manufacture of permanent magnets.
